A Rajputi Poshak is the traditional four-piece dress of Rajput women — the kurti, the kanchli (the fitted inner blouse), the ghaghra (the pleated skirt) and the odhna (the long veil). It is worn at weddings, Teej, Gangaur and Karwa Chauth. Karni Creations makes each poshak by hand in Jaipur, in gota patti, zardozi and real silver work, and ships to the United States with the measurements taken before anything is cut.

Buying a bridal poshak from eight thousand miles away raises four fair questions. Here is how each one is handled.
You cannot come to Jaipur for a fitting
You do not need to. Send your measurements using our guide, or book a video call and we will walk you through taking them at home — bust, waist, hip, ghaghra length, sleeve. Nothing is cut until you confirm the numbers. The kurti, ghaghra and odhna are then tailored to you rather than sold in fixed sizes.

Before any order leaves Jaipur, we show it to you on a video call — the colour in real light, the weight of the handwork, the finish on the gota. You approve it, then it is packed. This matters more for an international order than a domestic one, because sending something back across borders is expensive for everyone.
You do not want a customs bill at the door
Import rules for goods entering the US changed substantially in 2025 and again in 2026. We keep our shipping page current with what applies today, what you pay, and what — if anything — is collected on delivery.

American Indian weddings usually run across several events, and the poshak choice changes with each.

With every bridal chuda
The Thikana Patra
With each bridal chuda set we send a Thikana Patra — a scroll on handmade paper, bound with a gota patti ribbon, carrying the history of the estate the bride’s family comes from. It is checked against the records and approved by her family before it is written.
If a bride’s family does not hold a thikana, she receives the Karni Creations Patra instead: the story of the craft and the house her chuda was made in, written in her name.
For a bride raised in the United States, this is often the part of the order her family keeps.

Do you ship Rajputi Poshak to the USA?
Yes. We ship from Jaipur to all US states, with tracking.

Use our measurement guide, or book a WhatsApp video call and we will take you through it step by step. We need bust, waist, hip, ghaghra length and sleeve length. Nothing is cut until you confirm.
How long does a Rajputi Poshak take to make?
Real ranges by type — light/festive, standard bridal, heavy bridal — plus US shipping time.
Message us with your wedding date before ordering and we will confirm whether it is achievable.
Can I return a poshak if it does not fit?
A custom-stitched poshak is made to your measurements, so we prevent fit problems rather than fix them afterwards — measurements are confirmed before cutting, and you see the finished piece on a video call before it ships.

Can you match jewellery and chuda to my poshak?
Yes. Poshak, Pachi Kundan jewellery and chuda are made in the same workshop, so the shades are matched by the same hands. Send a photo of the colour on WhatsApp before you order.
What size chuda should I order?
Chuda is sized by inner diameter — 2.4, 2.6, 2.8 and so on. Measure a bangle that already fits you, or message us and we will help you choose before you order.
Do you take orders in US dollars?
Confirm whether you display USD, and which payment methods work for US customers.
