Rajputi Necklace Sets

A Rajputi necklace set (neckset) is a pachi kundan necklace with matching earrings, made in the red-and-green meena tones of Rajasthan. Worn with the poshak at weddings and festivals, Karni necksets are handcrafted in Jaipur and delivered across India, with stone tones matched to your outfit.

Neckset Guide

Choosing a Rajputi Neckset

Which styles of Rajputi necklace are there?

StyleWhat it isWorn for
NecksetA kundan necklace with matching earrings — the everyday term for a matched pairFestivals, functions, gifting; the most versatile piece
HasliA rigid, collar-shaped necklace sitting close at the base of the neckPlain poshaks that need one strong piece
Rani haarA long necklace falling below the chest, often layered over a chokerWeddings and receptions, layered looks
AadThe broad square bridal choker — covered on its own pageThe bridal centrepiece
TimaniyaThe three-stone close choker — covered on its own pageDaily and festive wear

How do you match a neckset to the poshak neckline?

The kurti neckline decides the necklace, not the other way around. A round or close neckline carries a hasli or choker well; a deeper neckline leaves room for a neckset with a pendant drop; for bridal layering, a choker on top with a rani haar below fills the frame without crowding. If the odhna will stay pinned over the head, keep the earrings lighter — the necklace does the work in photos.

What colours work with which poshak?

The classic Rajasthani pairing is red-and-green kundan meena — it sits well on almost every poshak colour, which is why it is the default. For rani pink, magenta or orange poshaks, an all-white kundan (silver-tone) neckset photographs sharper than adding more colour. Send your poshak photo on WhatsApp and the workshop matches the meena and stone tones before dispatch — the same matching we do for choora.

Necklace Set FAQs

What is included in a Rajputi necklace set?

A neckset includes the necklace and matching earrings, made in the same kundan work and meena tones. Some sets add a maangtikka — the product page lists exactly what each set includes, and you can ask for a matching tikka to be made for any set.

What is the difference between a neckset and an aad?

The aad is the specific broad, square bridal choker of Rajputi tradition; a neckset is the general necklace-and-earrings pair worn for festivals and functions. A bride typically wears the aad on the wedding day and necksets at the other functions.

Can the neckset colours be matched to my poshak?

Yes — send a photo of your poshak on WhatsApp and the Jaipur workshop matches the meena and stone tones against it before dispatch. This works best when ordering the poshak and jewellery together, since both are made under one roof.

Which neckset suits a high-neck kurti?

For a high or close neckline, choose a hasli or a short choker that sits at the collar — a pendant-drop neckset disappears under the fabric. If you want length, layer a rani haar over the kurti instead.

Do you deliver necklace sets across India?

Yes — every set is handcrafted and packed at our Jaipur workshop and delivered across India, and to the USA, UK, Canada, UAE and Australia for NRI orders. Each piece is photographed before dispatch.
